Defensive Tactics Class 1.0

Service Description

The Defensive Tactics Class 1.0 is a 2 day class where you will learn firearm safety, situational awareness, the responsibilities of carrying a concealed weapon, and you undergo hands-on training and practical shooting at our range to ensure you can handle your firearm safely and effectively. You will be able to demonstrate the how to handle a pistol safely when carrying a concealed firearm, basic principles of concealment and the difference between cover and concealment, drawing from the holster, mental awareness, and developing the proper mindset when using a pistol for personal protection and more. Our goal is to help you feel confident and knowledgeable as you learn how to protect yourself and defend your family. At the end of the two days, once you have completed and showed proficiency in the requirements for Oregon's Concealed Carry Permit (Only available to Oregon residents), you will receive a class completion certificate with our NRA Certified Instructor and the NRA Secretary signatures. *This class is only conducted by NRA Certified Pistol Instructors.

What to Bring:

• ​9mm caliber handgun or larger that you would use for everyday conceal carry

  • Rentals are available (includes firearm, holster, magazines, magazine pouches, belt, hearing and eye protection)​

• 350-400 Rounds of Ammo

• Sturdy Holster 

• Sturdy and Comfortable Belt

• 2 magazines minimum

• Magazine Pouches 

• Electronic Hearing Protection (noise canceling)

• Eye protection

• Weather appropriate clothing & comfortable closed toed footwear

• Water & Coffee provided
